Cupcake Baking: The kids will learn kitchen skills like preparing, baking and cleaning.  They will make their very own Chocolate and Vanilla Cupcakes. (Gluten Free option available, please let us know upon registration.)


Cake Decorating: This can be the second class to the Cupcake Baking class or it can be a stand alone class.  The kids will learn how to mix frosting/icing to create colors and learn basic piping skills. (If this is a stand alone class for your child, Gluten Free can still be an option, please inform us upon registration.)


Cartooning: Join Larry Sondrall, one of our devoted members, and learn how to create cartoons with simple letters and numbers.  This class fills very quickly.


Pastel Paint Animals: Create your very own pastel animal.  Learn all about pastels as a medium.


Card Making: This is a fun and creative paper craft.  There are so many options to make your very own.


Sculpty: Sculpey is a clay used by sculptors all over the world. Let your child have fun with this hands on experience.


Crochet: Learn basic crochet stitches.


Quilling: An art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped and glued together to create decorative designs. 


Graphite: Learn basic drawing techniques with graphite.


Paint-Along: Join Deborah Setser and create your own masterpiece using acrylic paint on canvas.


Wood Sculpting: Creat 3D wooden sculptures.


Hand Embroidery: Learn beginning embroidery stitches in this years old fiber art.


Junk Drawer Art: Create unique art pieces from various objects.


Sewing: (Group 2 (9&10 yrs. only): Bring an old t-shirt and make your very own t-shirt pillow. (Group 3): You'll create a small bag/purse. Both sewing classes will use machine.


Woodburning & Painting (Coloring): Learn how to burn designs into wood and then paint with colored pencils.


Carving Clay: An introduction to wood carving, learn techniques while carving clay.


  • There are 2 pages included in registration.  Please print and fill out both pages.  Mail to 200 W. Blair St., Mineola, TX. 75773 or drop off at MLOTA office during regular business hours.
  • Don't send payment.  You will receive an invoice via email when your child is registered for all available classes.
  • The "class break" that is offered this year is only available if your child is registered for both a morning and afternoon class. There is a fee of $5/day and your child must bring a sack lunch.

Understanding the Group divisions:

  • Group 1 is for children ages 6-8 only.  
  • Group 2 is for children ages 8-10 only.
  • Group 3 is for children ages 10-12 only.

If your child is 8, they are included in both Groups 1 & 2, use your best judgement when registering them.

If your child is 10, they are included in both Groups 2 & 3, use your best judgement when registering them.

Volunteer Form
We are appreciative of all volunteers especially during our busiest weeks of the year. We accept volunteers from ages 13 and up. Pick the day and time you can help us out. Drop off your completed registration form at the office during regular business hours or mail to 200 W. Blair St., Mineola, TX. 75773.
