This is a watercolor doodle floral class.  We will play and get loose, drop some paint on the paper and then create florals. Our goal is to loosen up and get out of our heads and create something vibrant and fun.

Bio -
Laurie Aurand is a mixed media artist living in  Fort Worth Texas.  She works primarily as an acrylic abstract artist, but during the Covid shutdown in the spring of 2020 when she knew she wouldn't have any art shows she decided she needed to do something easier to store and so started her watercolor journey.  Because drawing isn't her thing she found a way to combine her love of color and doodling.  She still paints large scale abstracts and shows both mediums at art festivals throughout Texas and Oklahoma.   She also creates hand painted resin jewelry and travel accessories.
Laurie has no formal art education but has taken classes unders some amazing teachers including Bob Burridge, David Kessler and Ardith Goodwin.  She believes it is important to always try new things and believes there are no failed paintings, just paintings waiting to  made into something else.  Because of that like every other artist she knows, she has way too many art supplies.
