Masters Builders
Lego Club
2nd Thursday of each month
Build, imagine, and create with our Master Builders – Lego Club. Kids explore design, problem‑solving, and storytelling through hands-on Lego challenges that spark creativity.
This is a drop off program open for master builders ages 6 through 17! Stay for an hour or stay for three! Small snack provided. Please do not bring your own Legos

Join us for the month of February for rhythm and creativity!
Fall in love with line dane! A very beginner class! In this fun 4-week class you’ll learn the basic line dance steps and apply those steps to some simple dances that’ll make you look like a pro!
Get up, get moving and embrace the transformative power of dance!

Printmaking Class
Sat. Feb 28 2-4pm
In this hands-on class, you’ll learn simple techniques to create your own original prints while connecting with fellow art lovers in Mineola.
LeAnna Davis will teach you how to create a block print design in low pressure, easy to follow steps. This art form is something that can be used over and over again, and on multiple different surfaces! Not an artist? Not a problem! Anyone age 14+ is welcome, no skill level required.
All experience levels are welcome

Collage Mixed Media Class

Explore your creativity at our Collage Mixed Media Workshop with Artist Toni Wesner. In this hands-on session you’ll layer paper, paint, textures, and found materials to build a one-of-a-kind artwork while learning approachable techniques.
All experience levels are welcome—from first-time makers to seasoned artists. By registering, you support Mineola League Of The Arts in keeping art education accessible and nurturing local talent and artists.
Writers' Studio
Monthly studio time will focus on overcoming creative blocks, developing your craft, and building community. Each month a different topic will be presented. Join us to connect with other writers!
Bruce Peil - Artist Demonstration
Tues. March 3
5-8pm
Join us for a live artist demonstration with Bruce Peil as he shares his creative process, tools, and techniques up close. See how his work comes together, step by step, and ask questions along the way.
5-6p - Artist meet and greet
6-8p - Bruce will give a 15 minute light lecture to discuss the elements of his paintings, and color choices, before his painting demonstration. At demo time, Bruce will be concentrating on painting, but questions are welcomed and encouraged.
Light refreshments are provided.
Learn to Crochet
Sat. April 11 10am-12p
Learn the basic crochet stitches and learn to crochet a granny square. This is a beginner class. All supplies included.

Card Weaving Bracelet or Hat Band
3 Saturdays in March
10a-12p
Discover the art of card weaving in a hands-on workshop that honors traditional craft and personal creativity. Learn how to design, thread, and weave your own patterned bands using simple tools and colorful yarn.
Guided by Carrie Fanco, you’ll leave with a short finished piece to use for a bracelet or had band. No loom necessary! Students will need a non-elastic belt to create tension for the process.

Come join LeAnna Davis's Drawn Together Sketchbook Class on March 21st to start creating a sketchbook full of unique and creative pages!
Sketchbook classes are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month, from 1:30-3:30pm

Tapestry and Crochet
Sat. May 2 4-5pm
Explore tapestry crochet with us in a relaxed, creative setting at Mineola League Of The Arts. You will learn how to change colors mid row to create a design in the crochet fabric without using knots that will make an approximately 6"x6" tapestry piece.
📍Students must be proficient with single crochet stitch.
Couch Potato Dance

Lone Star Steppers and Mineola League of the Arts invites all line dancers from East Texas to join us for good food, great camaraderie and DANCING!
BBQ pork, stuffed baked potatoes and dessert will be served. Event will be held at the United Methodist Church in Quitman at the JOY Hall.
Shuttle Tatting Class

Join us for Shuttle Tatting
Learn the delicate art of lace-making in a relaxed, hands-on class that welcomes beginners and seasoned crafters alike. Our instructor Carrie Franco, will guide you step by step, helping you create a small, beautiful piece to take home.
All supplies and materials included.
Filet Crochet Class
Sat. May 2 1-3pm
Learn the art of filet crochet while connecting with fellow makers. In this class, you’ll follow simple grids to create lacy patterns and pictures with just chains and double crochet. Students will learn to crochet the open/closed pattern weave that is filet crochet The closed blocks of weave make the picture.
All skill levels are welcome—but a knowledge of double crochet stitch is required. Open to ages 10+. Please bring a size 1 or 2 steel crochet hook.
